Meet The Team

  

Sheila

Sheila started her career in dentistry many years ago and immediately knew it was the perfect fit for her. Sheila joined the staff at Dr. Brown’s office in 1998. After assisting for 20 plus years she has now made her way to the front desk where she’ll be the first to greet you with a smile. 

In 2018, she became a wife and mother to beautiful twin daughters and in 2020 the journey of being a grandma began.   She loves spending time with her husband and enjoys exploring their 10 acres and feeding all the animals that visit their property daily. 

Amanda

Amanda is a Dental Assistant with 20 years of dental experience and has been with our practice since 2017. She has always had a passion for dentistry and driven to build on her skills and education. Amanda loves interacting with patients and makes it a priority to assure each and every person feels as comfortable and relaxed as possible. In her free time, Amanda takes pleasure in riding and competing her horses and enjoys traveling. 

Vanessa

Vanessa is a dental assistant who has been with the practice since 2017. Her goal is to make every patient she works with feel as comfortable as possible. She loves spending time with her family. In her free time she enjoys practicing Jiu jitsu and yoga. She hopes to further her career in assisting by continuing her education and becoming a board certified dental assistant.

Enza

Enza started her career in dentistry in 2004 as a dental assistant. She then went on to hygiene and has been practicing as a registered dental hygienist since 2008. She graduated with honors from U of D Mercy in downtown Detroit and spent time volunteering at places like the VA, Receiving Hospital, and surrounding nursing homes in the area. She enjoys getting to know her patients and strives on giving them the personalized dental care they deserve. 
Enza and her husband Bill both graduated from Utica High School.  They are now married with two boys, and have a German Shepherd dog named Smokey. Enza and her husband love to spend time watching their two boys Liam and Miles play sports like football, soccer, and swim. They also enjoy bike riding together and entertaining family and friends.

Chelsea

Chelsea has been in the dental field for 10 years. She was a dental assistant for 6 years as well as working alongside the front desk staff at a family and cosmetic practice. She then graduated with her dental hygiene degree and has served as a hygienist for 4 years. At a young age Chelsea knew creating smiles was her passion and purpose. She has found a love for caring for all of her patients, meeting their needs and educating her patients. Chelsea spends her free time with her husband and her newest arrival Charlotte Mae. As a family they have found a passion for serving others and their church.

Karen

Karen is a dental hygienist that began her career in dentistry as an assistant in 1991, the same year she met the love of her life, Dave. They have two grown
daughters and are enjoying time with each other and their pets in their farmhouse in Lakeville. Karen likes to make a comfortable, friendly, gentle and relaxing
experience for her patients. She adores spending time with her family, traveling to their cabin Up North and going on road trips. She loves fresh air, animals,
gardening, antiquing, listening to music and reading. 

Adina

Adina started with Brown Dental in 2022. She felt comfortable right away working for this family based dental office that makes their employees and patients feel
like family too. She is part of the front office staff where you will see her at check in, check out or have a friendly conversation over the phone for scheduling, payments 
and appointment reminders. She has over 30 years working in an office environment and loves building on her skill set with adding dentistry to her experience.  Adina
and her husband Tom have three grown children, a grandson and 2 dogs that they love spending time with. 

Jan

Jan began her dental career in orthodontics and eventually transitioned to general dentistry where she found her niche. She brings to the Practice a wealth of experience and
knowledge that can’t be matched. She has always enjoyed that with each new day comes variety and a chance to interact with patients. Jan along with her husband Ray love
spending quality time with her three children, two grandsons and their granddaughter. She comes from a large family and connecting with them makes her life complete. 
In her spare time, Jan likes to indulge in reading books and watching movies. 
Monica
Monica began her dental career for the first 6 years as a chairside assistant. She graduated from MCC with both CDA and RDA licenses. Realizing her love for serving the 
community, she decided to pursue dental hygiene. In 1989 (not a typo :)) she graduated from U of D School of Dentistry Magna Cum Laude with a BS and also the 
recipient of the Golden Scaler Award.  She strives to make each day her best knowing tomorrow will even be better! She has always chosen employment at smaller, quality,
patient oriented settings. She feels very fortunate to be part of the Brown Dental family, working alongside a dedicated group of people who together make an outstanding
team! Outside of work, Monica enjoys vacationing with her husband John, gardening and participating in fund raising for pediatric research. She simply adores her 5 foot long
iguana and also shares her home with two rescue cats who are very lucky to have been found by such a loving, caring and spectacular individual!
